Public Gardens established in 1867 and open from month of May to November.
You can walkthrough winding paths and see flowers, ponds, trees and fountains
and even feed the ducks. This Victorian public garden is popular for getting
wedding photographs also. Less crowd on week days and plan to stay
at least 2 hours over there. Admission is free and eating and drinking
facilities are available.
This garden is under threat with the urban development of the Halifax, but
there is a community call Friends of Public Garden, who are working on the
