  Montreal Metro System:
    Metro is modern and efficient way of traveling in Montreal. Montreal metro system is consist of 65 stations and four lines. This system also serves to the underground city. Metro service is available from 6.00 am in the morning to midnight.

Metro is a fast way of reaching your destination and it connects the down town area with most of the popular tourist attractions. Underground metro stations are easily identifiable with big blue sign with white arrow.

The four metro lines are identified as Orange line, Green Line, Yellow Line and Blue Line. Each line has separate operating hours and schedule. Please visit to STM web sites for the latest updates.


  Montreal Bus Service:
    Bus service is interconnected with the metro system and operates from the early morning to mid night. There are several night bus services also available in selected routes. The main bus station in down town Montréal is Voyageur Bus Terminal.

    There are several guided bus tours are available with experience guide. Those services are perfect for sight seeing.

  Montreal Rail System:
    There are five rail lines are available in Montreal interconnected with the other public transportation systems. This service is provide by Canada's national rail transport company and even you can reach long destinations such as North America by this train network. Gare Centrale (Central Station) and Windsor Station are the main rail station located in downtown Montreal.

  Montreal Tickets:
    When you are purchasing tickets you can get one - three day passes or individual tickets. Tickets can be purchased from convenience stores and metro stations.
    If you have transfer from bus to metro system you can do it with no extra cost. But you need to get a transfer slip from metro station or bus driver. Please note that transfers are valid only for 90 minutes. If you are planning to travel off the island, There is a separate charging structure is applicable.
